Meet Stewart & Heaton! The Australian owned & operated company are going on strong 25 years in the areas of protective apparel & Total Apparel Management (TAM) services to the government & private sector. S&H provide hundreds of local jobs and have built close relationships to various suppliers across the Australian Supply Chain. In addition, S&H are proud members of the Council of Textile & Fashion, actively supporting the growth of the Australian Industry, with managing director Simon Stewart sitting on our board.


In 2016 Stewart & Heaton Clothing Co. Pty Ltd (S&H) notches up 25 years in operation. Founded in Perth, the company has grown from a one man start up to a truly national firm with offices and warehouses in six states.

The company has two core areas of focus; the manufacture and supply of specialist protective apparel, and the provision of Total Apparel Management (TAM) services to the government and private sector. S&H has a long association with the Police, Fire and Emergency services sector and continues to invest in new products, processes and services to meet the emerging needs of it’s customers.

S&H, by virtue of it’s wide and deep supply chain has a close relationship with Australian manufacturers, fabric, trim and component suppliers. We are a proudly Australian owned and operated family business that has created hundreds of jobs for Australian families.

Stewart & Heaton Workwear

Over the course of it’s 25 year journey S&H has been responsible for a number of industry leading initiatives and innovations across the Police, Fire and Emergency services sector. These include being the first company to be licensed to manufacture in Australia Certified Firefighting garments to the new Australian and International Standards, introducing ergonomically designed firefighting garments to address the critical issue of metabolic heat build up, the development and introduction of a sophisticated asset tracking system LOGIC (Life of Garment Integrated Care) and the rollout of leading edge on line ordering and entitlement systems to meet the needs of domestic and internationally based customers.

According to Managing Director Simon Stewart, "S&H exists to meet the current and future needs of our target markets. We must remain relevant, reliable and responsive. The only constant is change however we remain ready to meet these challenges into our next 25 years.”
